SCOPE
The Associate Director, Social Media will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies across key platforms (currently Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, TripAdvisor, TikTok and others in future when relevant) to ensure high engagement levels and reputation at Marina Bay Sands.
Oversee the operational management of regional platforms such as LINE and Kakao, in addition to stakeholder support for the Hotel, Entertainment, Special Events, Retail, Nightlife, HR, Sustainability and CSR.
Ensure conformance of social media content to brand guidelines and aesthetics, while ensuring that the creative visuals elevates audience excitement that is associated with the Marina Bay Sands experience
Build paid social media expertise and build effective top to middle of funnel strategies that drives effective social media reach and engagement, while concurrently building brand value and recall via social media
Develop effective paid influencer strategy that amplifies lifestyle possibilities and aspirations enabled through MBS\'s offerings, while maximizing brand visibility to targeted audience
Integrate social media efforts into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives that showcases our elevated luxury positioning while creating strong engagement with the social community
Harness the power of social listening and analytics to glean valuable insights, anticipate trends, and guide strategic decision-making that keeps us at the forefront of industry innovation. Utilize data-driven approaches to continuously optimize content performance, enhance audience targeting, and maximize ROI across all social media channels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 8 years of social media marketing and management experience
Effective leadership in managing different teams covering diverse portfolios across various platforms
Strong understanding of social media platforms and tools, trends and best practices
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media campaigns that engage and grow audiences across channels
Extensive experience with stakeholder management, collaboration, and project management
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a creative team
Passion for luxury hospitality, travel and lifestyle trends
Be curious and creative, capable of logical thinking and strategic planning.
Be meticulous, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way.
Be able to handle ambiguity, high workload, and extreme amount of detail.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude, and the ability to deal effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
