Associate Director/senior Manager, Information Technology

Job Description



  • Responsible for creating, revising and maintaining the IT strategic & operational plans and implementation to support the IT services and functions. May also participate in projects to define and implement IT strategic plans and systems for customers.
  • Responsible for all strategic and operational IT activities in areas of project management, vendor management, architecting, solutioning, designing, developing, quality assurance, testing, user education and operational maintenance and renewals.
  • Provides overall managerial leadership and technical expertise to team members including managing budget, work plan, project commitments and resources.
  • Lead and manage multiple teams in the delivery of applications, network and security infrastructure services through effective planning, management and deployment of resources
  • Lead the planning, development and implementation of business continuity plans for all environments working with business units and office of IT.
  • Lead the technology innovation, implementation and maintenance of technical showcases and experimental workspaces.
  • Ensure that infrastructure and systems are constantly monitored and/or maintained to provide the highest level of availability with a satisfactory performance to the business.
  • Manage vendors to gather, analyse user requirements, conceptualise into solutions and realign proposals to meet users\' needs.
Qualifications
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, with at least 10 years of experience in leading IT applications, infrastructure and operations teams for a mid to large-sized organization.
  • Professional certification in Project Management, Enterprise Architecture, ITIL and cyber security would be advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of various IT technologies, development platforms, ERP, SalesForce and K2 software as well as network, server and database management.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple teams, partner with management to deliver business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to direct resources, plan project activities, financial budgets and experience in Project Management best practices.
  • Strong interest and working knowledge in educational technology would be advantageous.
  • Strong people and process management skills with result oriented track record.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
