  • Evaluate and process incoming CRs to determine the necessity and impact of proposed changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality to assess the feasibility and implications of requested changes.
2) Develop and Implement Change Orders (COs):
  • Create detailed COs based on approved CRs, specifying the changes to be made, affected documents, and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of COs.
3) Engineering Document Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure that all document changes are properly reviewed, approved, and archived according to organizational standards.
4) Engineering Procedure and QMS Management:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain engineering procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Manage and audit the QMS to ensure that it meets regulatory requirements and drives continuous improvement.
5) Documentation and Communication:
  • Maintain accurate records of CRs, COs, and related documentation in the engineering change management system.
  • Communicate changes clearly and effectively to all stakeholders, ensuring understanding and compliance.
6) Quality and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all changes comply with internal quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify potential quality and compliance issues associated with changes.
7) Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for improving the engineering change management process to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for managing engineering changes.
8) Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure that changes are feasible, cost-effective, and align with overall project goals.
9) Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to team members on the CR/CO process and tools.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on engineering change management within the organization.
10) Problem-Solving:
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to engineering changes, including discrepancies, delays, and non-conformances.
  • Develop corrective and preventive actions to address recurring issues.
11) Reporting and Metrics:
  • Generate reports and metrics to track the status and effectiveness of CRs and COs.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
Qualification & Education RequirementsBachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * At least 2 years experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, with a focus on change management.Familiarity with engineering change management systemsPreferred Skills
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and technical documentation.
  • Experience in engineering document management, QMS, and fixture design.
  • Experience in Product Life Management (PLM) application such as Teamcenter, Visualization applications such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Project Management:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
