Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to manage key Fixed Voice projects with primary focus on Project Orchard (to relocate Fixed Voice systems/equipment out of Orchard podium area)
Support the Project Orchard related migration & work closely with key stakeholders to ensure schedules are met
To reconcile any differences in customer baseline services subscription info vs what was provisioned/configured in the switches for the configuration audit
Review MOPs and Issue work instructions or change requests (via CTTS) to the various internal teams to execute job activities in the live production network
Operations and maintenance of Local Voice System including NGN/IMS/vIMS, which provide the essential voice services including Del/HDL/ISDN, TCP/IP core routers and firewalls
Engage in technology investigation on challenges or problems faced by the customer or systems
Provision and validate new customer\xe2\x80\x99s services via Pegasus/ESOM
Support all the security compliances and system monitoring
Engage in C5 virtualization, perform UAT and trouble shooting
Administer and configuration on internet protocol (IP) and related cyber-security in Firewall, ICT servers and relevant IP equipment
Competency in ITU-T DSS1 protocol and ISDN protocol analyser
Work with various key stakeholders including IT and Transmission Engineering teams to gather end to end customer info to prepare for migration
To reconcile any differences in customer baseline services subscription info vs what was provisioned/configured in the switches for the configuration audit
Engage Product and account managers to internally align how best to notify customers (e.g.:6 months in advance) based on the proposed migration batches
Ensure customers migration is in line with Project Orchard schedule and plan out migration based on customers\xe2\x80\x99 acknowledgement/agreement and manage customer requirements/escalations (esp. for VIP/VVIP ones)
Prepare and cater for status reporting to management on all Fixed Voice related dependencies and activities tracking for Project Orchard
The ideal candidate should have/ be:
Diploma in Engineering majoring in Computer Science, IP networking or telecommunications/mobile communication
Working experience in computer networking or the telecommunications industry is an added advantage
Entry level candidates without working experience will also be considered
Knowledge of telecommunications technologies, such as IP Centrex/IMS
Basic technical knowledge of computer networking, cybersecurity, including knowledge of hardware, protocols, and internet standards
Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English
Good interpersonal skills, able to be a team player across different groups and levels
