Make an Impact by:

  • Ensure the contractors follow safety procedure in accordance to the work health and safety act (WHSA) and to use appropriate safety equipment so as to complete the assigned job efficiently and safely.
  • Compile and update contractor progress report for weekly diversion meeting and statistical reports on fiber network performance.
  • Apply necessary Change Request and approval for diversion works
  • Issue fiber material vouchers to contractors.
  • Verify contractor submitted claims.
  • On standby and attend to fiber cable faults related to fiber diversion works.
  • Supervise technicians and contractors to execute all access fibre cable works in the area under his control in accordance with all established operation procedures and engineering instructions.
Skills for Success:
  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or in relevant field.
  • Preferably with 1 year working experience and holding Class 3 driving license.
  • Able to work during non-office hours to support network incidents and restoration.
  • Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player.
