Make an Impact by:

• Work with internal and external parties on IT technical solutions and solution implementations
• Support application software configuration, programming, enhancement and testing based on changing business requirements
• Maintain VDC environments, firewalls, load balancers and security systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise network and virtual environments
• Participate in workshop/meeting to capture and analyse software and system requirements
• Participate in Disaster Recovery(DR) and CAB(Change Advisory Board) exercises
• Perform any other ad-hoc activities as requested by immediate supervisor

Skills for Success:

• Diploma in TComputer Scienc/ Engineering or Electrical/Electronics & Communications Engineering, Info-Comm Technology.
• At least 2 years relevant experience working in telecommunications or multimedia engineering would be an advantage.
• Knowledge in Cloud computing, VMware VDC, firewall and load balancer, networking and security.
• Knowledge in Tableau, Jasper or development of dashboard and reports.
• Knowledge in programming languages, such as: Python, Java, Shell scripting
• Knowledge in MySQL, PostgreSQL DBs
• Knowledge in Linux or Windows operating system
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodologies (Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD).
• Knowledge with the ELK Stack - ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana and Kafka would be an advantage.
• Knowledge automation, containerisation, and orchestration using tools such as GitHub, Ansible, Jira etc. would be an advantage.
• Logical thinking/ approach to problem solving
• A good team player and highly motivated, goal-oriented individual
