Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team as an Associate Engineer, where you'll develop and test innovative electrical systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards while collaborating with talented professionals to tackle exciting technical challenges. Be a key player in driving our projects forward!

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Design and plan switchgear panel layouts, ensuring optimal arrangement of breakers, relays, contactors, and protection devices. Develop detailed wiring and cable routing layouts to achieve safe, reliable, and efficient electrical connections. Collaborate closely with design and production teams to translate schematics into manufacturable panels that meet project and industry standards. Convert electrical drawings into structured documentation (e.g., Excel or production tables) for production use. Validate connection markers and wiring references to eliminate duplication, errors, and mismatches during assembly. Support the digitalization of engineering workflows by designing and deploying custom applications (e.g., Power Apps or equivalent low-code platforms). Integrate digital tools and systems to streamline engineering processes, documentation management, and project coordination. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements for both electrical panel design and digital tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification. At least 3 years of relevant experience in switchgear design, assembly, or testing. Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagram. Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software for panel layout and wiring design is advantageous. Exposure to digital tools such as low-code platforms, database integration, or workflow automation is a plus. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in validation and error-checking. Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
