Job Description

The Role Responsibilities

  • This role is under the Frontline and Business Performance Team on the broader CCIB Business Development Team. This team owns a portfolio of productivity and frontline capability enablement tools (such as Account Plans, Pipeline, Scorecards), oversee external client benchmarks and coordinate strategic workforce planning.
  • The incumbent will work very closely with the Team Head to manage, maintain and improve the frontline Analytics used across Client Coverage Frontline and Client Coverage Management.
Strategy
  • Understand CCIB business strategy and the Business Development role in driving the delivery of our client proposition, commercialisation and frontline effectiveness.
Analytics
  • Develop and run CCIB Client Coverage analytics products across use cases, segments, and product portfolios.
  • Design and Build compelling analytics Dashboards using industry leading analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI to analyse Pipeline, Revenue and share of wallet, Client Plans, Cost and Headcount, Productivity.
  • Analyse internal and external data sources across our key metrics to create relevant workflows using Alteryx to map data lakes and allow to cross database for insightful analysis of our frontline activities.
Business
  • Partner with the Team head to garner support from senior management for proposed changes through clear and concise communication of benefits.
  • Apply knowledge of banking business, products, systems, processes, sales activities and best practises in the market to design data driven management insights and tools.
  • Leverage industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology to support new ideas to drive the business.
  • Develop good, up-to-date knowledge of frontline tools/platforms and work closely with the CRM team to define the business needs/use cases for system capabilities - to build leading capabilities in the new CRM platform.
  • Design and maintain CCIB dashboards for RMs and Management to help track key business performance metrics on namely on Account Plan, Pipeline and Calling Trends.
  • Understand CCIB business strategy and the Business Development role in driving the delivery of our client proposition, commercialisation and frontline effectiveness.
Processes
  • Drive internal and external process improvements, consulting with the business (cross product and cross regions) teams to understand needs and pain points related to tools support, solve workflow problems, and ensure internal tools and automation systems are fully leveraged.
  • Work with the Business Process or Policy Owner(s) to enhance or simplify process flow and design.
  • Understand and assimilate detailed and complex business processes across multiple regions and products. Identify key changes in process required to enable speed, accuracy, scalability and effectiveness.

  • Provide design and or process specific coaching to newer or less experienced members of the team.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Data sciences roles, in Financial Services sector.
  • Advanced analytics capability with the ability to interpret financial and coverage data.
  • Strong academic record: Degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong Knowledge of Tableau or similar visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of either SAS, Alteryx, R or Python.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Strong understanding of Hadoop Database.
  • Knowledge in modern data storage and advanced analytics technologies such as Dremio, Snowflake, NLP, OCR, Computer Vision will be hugely beneficial.
  • Understanding in emerging cloud and smart technologies such as Azure, AWS, Cognitive Automation will be an added plus.
  • Proficient at designing, optimising and scaling complex and ambiguous projects.
  • Experience communicating with a variety of audiences.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving experience.
