Working Arrangement Hybrid The Applications Development team provides innovative solutions in driving Manulife’s digital transformation. We are looking for Associate Full Stack Engineer who are obsesses about Customers and is passionate about developing amazing technology solutions. Would-be candidates will undergo exam and interview.

As a Associate Full Stack Engineer , you will:

• Code, test and integrate new features and functionality
• Apply creative problem solving that bring software designs to life
• Build apps, APIs and data solutions to drive projects
• Participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions to devise creative and disruptive digital solutions
• Assist in the development of automated test harnesses as necessary to ensure delivery of high-quality code
• Update progress daily through the tracking tool (Jira) or Kanban board
• Contribute to completion of any required documentation required e.g. deployment, maintenance, support and business needs
• Participate in the weekly Look Ahead meetings to assist the Product Owner to refine the Product Backlog including providing initial estimates
• Apply disciplined coding practices to enable agility and delivery of high-quality code

Requirements to hire:

• Knowledgeable in technologies such as: React, Angular, Node, JQuery, Javascript, Python, Scala or Java, C#
• Knowledgeable in Web Development skills such as: HTML 5, CSS 3, AJAX, JSON, ASP.Net
• Knowledgeable in API skills (technologies such as Express/Node, GraphQL/Relay, Flask, Jersey, Java Spring REST or WebApi2)
• Writes clear and readablecode, takes ownership of the quality and usability of code
• Knowledgeable in Unit, Integration, Functional, System, Stress, Performance, Usability Testing
• Knowledgeable in Web Deployment and Management
• Good foundation in data structures and algorithms.
• Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
• Constantly learns from both success and failure
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
• Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
• Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next
