Meta is seeking a highly motivated team player as Associate General Counsel, Litigation. You will manage significant and complex litigation matters and advise internal teams on legal risks. The role requires good judgment, a good work ethic, and a keen interest in learning about emerging technologies and areas of the law with a focus on intermediary liability matters. This is a full-time position based in our Singapore office and will focus primarily on work for our business in India with opportunities to assist on litigation work in the rest of Asia Pacific as well.Associate General Counsel - Litigation ResponsibilitiesSupervise and work with the team and outside counsel on determining strategy in multiple litigation matters across a range of issuesProvide support to internal teams on various legal requestsWork with cross-functional teams on a range of issues, including security, content, data protection, policy, product, privacy, business and regulatory mattersDevelop approaches to managing legal risks and resolving/ pre-empting disputesEnsure work product of the highest quality that furthers Meta's strategic goalsOpen to travel as and when requiredMinimum QualificationsLLB, JD or equivalent degreeMinimum of 8+ years experience at a law firm, in-house or working in a Barrister's office in litigation and dispute resolution managementDomain expertise in Internet laws with a focus on issues relating to online platforms and intermediary liability concernsPrevious experience in dealing with litigation issues for India.Candidates must be flexible and willing to work on diverse legal projectsMeta requires all employed attorneys to have a law degree or equivalent certificate to permit the practice of law and be appropriately licensed and authorized to practice law for the company in their assigned work location.
