Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for closing of the monthly financials for a number of offshore and onshore entities
• Review the monthly, semi-annual and annual accounts of all VE related entities and ensure all transactions are captured and coded correctly in accordance with company policies and IFRS
• Responsible for monthly consolidation for a number of entities
• Manage cash balances and funds flows for working capital and investment requirements
• Manage intercompany loans outstanding (drawdown, interest accrual, repayments, etc)
• Ensure intercompany advances are cleared on a monthly basis
• Review the annual GST filings and annual corporate tax filings prepared by KPMG and ensure ontime submissions
• Managing and coordinating the semi-annual and annual review/audit for the various Holdcos and SGCos
• Interface with the accounting teams in the offshore offices
• Attend to any investor enquiries and requests for financial information
• Assist in providing any financial information and analysis requested by the business
• Provide active coaching to onshore teams and timely support to their queries
• Ad hoc projects as assigned
  

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA Singapore, or an accounting degree
• Experience with consolidation, full set of accounts and drafting financial statements
• Experience with managing overseas finance teams
• Familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards
• Candidate(s) with audit background in Big4 will be an added advantage
• Good to have some knowledge on business comination/ merger and acquisitions
• Able to manage project and work in a fast-paced environment
