RESPONSIBILITIESLIST OF DUTIES FOR EACH RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Safety and availability of Electrical Systems, Installation and Power Network
Design, install, repair, maintain, operate, inspect, test and take full charge and responsibility for any electrical installation on the EMSEA site up to 66kV.
This includes mainly listed systems and dedicated subsystems: Main substation, substations, high voltage GIS (Gas Isolated Switchgear) and installation, high, medium and low voltage motor, diesel power generator, transformer, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), MCC (Motor Control Center), PU (Package Units).
SCS (Switchgear Control System) and all with above mentioned related PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
Planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance.
Perform troubleshooting and problem solving tasks during project startup, maintenance, and production problems.
Design, program and modify or specify the algorithms, graphics, displays, interlocks and calculations into above mentioned systems.
Contributes to maintain and administer facility quality, safety and environmental programs/processes, including non-conformance action items and MOC processes. He/she therefore is in close contact with the relevant departments to be up to date in terms of regulations. If part of the duties requires work in Methionine plant, he/she ensures that all FAMI QS requirement are met at all times in his/her area of responsibility.
2. Provide and implement technical assistance
Provide technical expertise and oversight for E&I maintenance and technical changes to the instrument and electrical systems required.
Provide training for maintenance team related to Electrical safety.
Identify and implement potential cost savings and safety related ideas
Provide production assistance as required for all E&I related improvements or trouble shooting.
3. Provide cost estimates and engineering support
Plan, manage, estimate, design, construct and startup plant projects associated with Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation and Facility systems
4. Focal point Electrical issues
Provide technical expertise on state-of-the-art of electrical installation, knowledge of the latest trends in the areas of electrical safety, systems and equipment to implement best practices for the EMSEA site.
5. Take over on a regular and scheduled base the E&I on-call engineer dutiesREQUIREMENTSEducation, Certification or relevant experience required:
Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Process Controls or equivalent
Additional skills and abilities required for this position:
Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in electrical engineering activities in the chemical or petrochemical industry
Extensive knowledge of the current Siemens GIS and SCS
Open-minded towards team concept
Good communication skills and adaptive to cultural differences
Ability to work with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and environmental concerns
This position requires a responsibility to assist with the production of the EMSEA site which are in 24/7/365 operations and is therefore required to be on-call
Usage and understanding of technical drawings such as P&IDs, electrical and instrument drawings and equipment manuals is a requirement for this position
Willingness and ability to attend internal and external trainings, if necessary abroad
