Primary Objectives of this Job

The Associate Engineer II will provide technical expertise to perform equipment maintenance services activities. He/ She will carry out calibration, repair, preventive and corrective maintenance activities for utilities and manufacturing equipment in support of Takeda Singapore Manufacturing activities.
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution of Preventive Maintenance, Routine and Corrective Maintenance and Instrument Calibration activities.
  • Performance work order administration including charging out of spare parts consumed, maintenance history, time spend, start and end time on the work order.
  • Report any abnormal observation pick up during trouble-shooting, maintenance or calibration activities.
  • Provide feedback Maintenance Engineer/ Planner on any improvement for maintenance task/ check list details that were picked up during execution of work order.
  • To perform duty such as PTW Requester, hazard work at height, first aider, confined space entrant and attendance.
  • Ensure high standard of housekeeping is maintained throughout the maintenance activities.
  • Perform entry level maintenance task for utilities and manufacturing equipment, instrument calibration, electrical system.
  • Perform entry level application for PCS7 and FMS system in supporting basic equipment maintenance, operation and troubleshooting for Utilities, HVAC and Manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance to cGMP, engineering standards like Global Maintenance DP when executing work orders e.g. Good Documentation Practice during maintenance activities.
  • Support in EHS and Quality regulatory and internal audit.
  • Perform shutdown activities as directed by shutdown lead.
  • Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.

  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and Experience Requirements
(Include educational requirements or equivalency, required years and type(s) or experience, and necessary licenses or certificates. Specify which are required and which are preferred.)
  • At least 1 year hands-on maintenance experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment, experience working in pharmaceutical or Bioscience related industrial requirement will be advantage.
  • Recognized technical qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (NITEC equivalent or higher)
  • Experience in CMMS system
