Manage the release of MiChat Android versions on Google Play and major OEM app stores, including submission, publishing, staged rollout, and rollback.
Prepare and maintain release notes and checklists; coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure timely launches.
Monitor key quality metrics (e.g., crash rate, App Non-Responsive Rate, User Engagement, retention), identify anomalies, and follow up on resolutions.
Configure and send in-app update notifications, and track user reach and upgrade conversion performance.
2. Multi-language & Localization Management
Maintain and improve the automatic translation system's language and terminology databases to enhance translation quality and consistency.
Collaborate with the legal team to ensure localized content complies with local laws and app store policies.
Review translation accuracy, identify issues, and drive corrections.
Oversee the integration and release of multilingual resources across product builds.
3. Developer Platform & Notification Management
Regularly check shared mailboxes and third-party developer portals for notifications, forward them to relevant owners, and ensure timely follow-up.
Manage developer accounts and access permissions, including creation, modification, and revocation.
Ensure account management processes are compliant, secure, and transparent.
4. Career Development Path
Participate in product planning, user research, PRD and prototype reviews under mentor guidance.
Conduct data-based analysis and version retrospectives to identify opportunities for product improvement.
Gradually take ownership of small-scale projects or modules, progressing toward a full Product Manager role.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above; STEM background preferred, especially Computer Science or Electronics.
Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience are preferred; however, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Detail-oriented, responsible and patient, with strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Fast learner, able to quickly master tools and workflows.
Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin), as the role involves handling documentation and liaising with partners and stakeholders based in China who primarily communicate in Mandarin.
Nice-to-have:
Experience publishing apps on Google Play or OEM app stores.
Understanding of Android app release processes.
