Job Description

Purpose of the role: Delivers on product roadmap priorities to achieve time to market and time to value targets by managing the product development lifecycle for a given product(s) through proven technical leadership.Financial responsibilities: The type of budget responsibility or revenue responsibility, i.e. project profitability, sales revenue, training budget, etc.Accountabilities: . Cross-functionally drive development and launch of the product from concept to delivery. . Defines and writes technical and functional specifications including requirements and detailed use cases for new product features. . Explains designs and constraints to stakeholders, writing User Stories for Dev teams. . Work with engineering, QA, professional services, and technical operations during design and implementation to shape the technical feature set and usability of the product and ensure the highest quality products delivered on-time, on budget and with superior performance and support. . Analyzes and ensures performance requirements are met. . Reviews test plans with software quality assurance team. . Collects and manages requirements from all stakeholders for one or more products across multiple product generations, . Synthesizes requirements from the various stakeholders. . Plans and manages execution of product roadmaps, development schedules and product/component designs . Manages the cross functional compatibility of software, hardware, and firmware for the solution . Coordinates business and contractual arrangements with partners . Trains and supports others on functional area related topicsSupports advisory boards, user groups and SIGs as neededAcademic and professional qualifications . Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, Finance, or business related field. . MBA strongly preferredExperience Requirements: . 2-4 years related work experience . Software design experience in complex, multi-tasking, real-time, highly availability systems . Experience with relational databases . Experience working in small, highly focused teams . Experience with complex software solutions across multiple generations of product, preferably in agent- based solutions. Must be able to define and manage complex process and/or product issues of a broad scope using independent judgment . Excellent analytical skills . Excellent interpersonal communication and management skills . Demonstrated problem solving skills . Experience writing technical functional specificationsTravel requirements: . National & International as required (estimated 40 - 60%)Working arrangements . A person working at this level would maintain regular working hours appropriate for the location and assignment
