Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Projects Related

• Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets
• Draft business requirement document
• Coordinate product walkthrough and user training
• Represent ops users in the project/initiative development process
• Document and follow up on actions and decisions from meetings, work with respective stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
• Participate in UAT for new products, system enhancements

Risk Related

• Perform independent assessment of root causes and mitigating actions for issues/errors as well as any subsequent escalation and reporting
• Review BCP and coordinate Departmental BCP exercises
• Perform periodic review on system accesses
• Perform and lead RCSA exercise
• Provide oversight on the MIS for the department including Key Risk Indicators and other metrices or reporting, to facilitate escalations and timely resolution
• Conduct physical stock count and perform Stock Reconciliation

Requirements

• Degree with relevant banking experience in a banking operations environment, ideally in a controls-related role in a securities industry
• Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
• A keen eye for control and ability to sieve out key issues and root causes in various circumstances
• Strong control mindset, with an eye for details
• Strong ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Good team player with good communication skills
• Team player who is able to work independently and under pressure
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous and an eye for details
• Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
