In addition, it runs a chain of dental clinics, and a family medicine clinic.
DESIGNATION : Associate, Purchasing

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Associate, Purchasing will be involved in the purchasing function for all goods and services essential to our day-to-day operations to support our business units. In addition, he/she may be assigned a task to support procurement if required. He/She will have to negotiate with vendors to secure best value and timely supply of goods and services in compliance to our procurement policy for all purchases.

  • Execute daily purchasing activities for all the business units
  • Act as a point of contact and a primary support for all purchases liaising with vendors and requesters on purchasing matters including raising of purchase requisition (PR) and performing goods receipt (GR)
  • Work closely with all business units to consolidate and ensure that all PR are correct before processing for orders
  • Ensure that all delivery documents are compliant to our procurement policy and perform GR for all business units and upload documents to the shared folder
  • Monitor vendor’s performance and ensure timely delivery of all goods and services
  • Resolve issues pertaining to orders, deliveries, goods, services, documents with vendors and business partners
  • Maintain databases and keep track of all records pertaining to purchases
  • Support other duties as assigned and experience in Procurement will be an added advantage


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Recognised Degree/ Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing and procurement; preferably in health and community care sector
  • Knowledge of eProcurement System preferably in SAP
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications
  • Possesses strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills
  • Team player and willingness to learn and adapt to changes
  • Self-driven, independent and problem solver


OTHER INFORMATION
Experience with SAP Hana/S4 modules relating to materials and inventory management.
