Job Description


Job Purpose

Responsible for managing sales team and drives performance by leading the salesforces to meet territory business objectives and establish GSK as the customer\xe2\x80\x99s key partner and advisor. This will be enabled by coaching and developing the team\xe2\x80\x99s scientific knowledge, business planning and selling capabilities

Key Responsibilities

Leading Performance

  • Coaches the salesforces to drive territory performance (30% own territory management, 70% team management), identify opportunities, and lead insight based, omnichannel territory business plans
  • Lead the salesforces to develop robust territory business plans, track performance and supports the sales forces, through consistent coaching
  • Coaches the salesforces to develop robust, effective, and efficient territory coverage plans and lead the excellence in execution through omnichannel
  • Constructs tailored coaching development plans that build the capabilities and the effectiveness of the salesforces, leads all appropriate performance management discussions
Coaching Selling Skills
  • Effectively coaches the development of the salesforces in their customer engagements
  • Understands the steps and skills required for effective execution of the PFSS and GSO selling approach and coaches the salesforces to continuously improve performance
  • Understands the appropriate omnichannel selling platforms, drive excellent customer experience, and coaches the salesforces to build omnichannel selling capabilities
  • Develops collaborative external and internal relationships that enhance the customer journey, channels customer feedback into the organization
  • Creates an open, honest, team focused, and results focused culture to help people thrive
In all areas, demonstrate understanding of and compliance with laws, codes of conduct, policies and frameworks in which GSK operates and live our purpose and culture.

Scientific Knowledge
  • Coaches the salesforces to continuously strengthen knowledge of brand strategies and leverages that knowledge with customers to drive performance
  • Ensure the salesforces have a comprehensive disease and brand knowledge and leverage it with customers to drive performance and build trusted relationship
  • Enables the salesforces to use scientific knowledge and insight to drive performance

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree & above with minimum 5 years of experience in the pharma / healthcare or related industry.
  • Proven record in driving sales in Pharma
  • No or
1 years of pharma sales management could be considered * Results and performance driven with sense of urgency
  • Strategic thinking and consulting skillset

  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Creative problem-solving
