Job Description
Associate Scientist - Advanced Multirotor UAV Guidance, Navigation and Control Research and Development
We are offering positions to conduct research and development of advanced guidance, navigation and control algorithms for challenging multirotor UAV flight profiles.
We invite motivated and creative researchers with the following relevant qualifications and experience to join us as Associate Scientist.
The successful candidate will engage in the full research and development process, including software development, onboard implementation and flight testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master or Phd Degree in aeronautical, computer, control, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics engineering, computer science, or related fields.
- Knowledge and experience in the following is preferred:
- Flight control algorithms
- Extended Kalman filter algorithms
- Optimization, motion planning algorithms
- UAV simulation, operation and testing
- Object oriented programming language, C/C++ and Matlab
- Software structure of robotic systems
- ROS / ROS2 programming
- Embedded systems programming
- PX4, Pixhawk or equivalent
