At Temasek, sustainability is at the core of all that we do. Ecosperity is Temasek's core platform for sustainability advocacy and engagement. Through the platform, Temasek drives global sustainability thought leadership through the development and execution of year-round activities to convene conversations, catalyse action, and push the climate change and sustainable development agenda.

As a core member of the Ecosperity Programme Office, you will drive the programme and speakers curation for all Ecosperity events - including Temasek's annual flagship sustainability conference Ecosperity Week, smaller year-round focused dialogues (Ecosperity Conversations), and public outreach activities. This will involve aligning event content and programming to support the longer term strategic roadmap for Ecosperity to have a regional presence by 2025, and a global presence by 2030. You will also lead the guest invitations and management process.

Responsibilities

Lead programme and speakers curation

• Research focus topics and curate session narratives for Ecosperity events
• Engage internal stakeholders (e.g. senior management, investment groups, market teams) to recommend and shortlist speakers
• Lead outreach to and communication with speakers
• Drive pre-event speakers huddles and prepare speaker and moderator briefing materials ahead of events
• Curate programme (e.g. setting up bilateral meetings, site visits) for select high-level guests (e.g. foreign dignitaries) during their attendance at various Ecosperity-related events, either in Singapore or international locations
• Oversee on-site programming execution with support from event vendor(s)
• Lead and manage speaker liaisons during the event

• Draft guest invitation copies
• Liaise with executive assistants to secure senior management attendance where needed
• Work with event vendor to update/maintain Ecosperity guest database (e.g. through implementing a CRM system), while ensuring timely dissemination of invitations
• Seek guest nominations from internal stakeholders while working with external partners to drive public sign-ups

• Demonstrable working knowledge of the global sustainability space, with informed perspectives on the latest trends, developments and policies in sustainable development and climate action

• Minimum 3 years of experience in producing and executing sustainability-centered events
• Excellent communication skills and a critical thinker who can 'connect the dots'
• A self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
• Adaptable, motivated, and has initiative and a "can do" attitude, with a strong interest in sustainability
• Ability to work constructively in a matrix environment managing multiple stakeholders and partners; an independent worker who is also a team player capable of contributing towards shared goals
• Flexibility to travel for event execution
