About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate / Senior Associate to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that partners the most innovative late-stage new economy companies across Asia in spearheading their next phase of growth.
You will work closely with senior team members to conduct in-depth analysis, perform due diligence, and structure transactions that meet our clients' needs.
Core Functions / Responsibilities

• Analyse potential equity advisory and debt opportunities in new economy companies, with a focus on their business models, market positioning, and financial performance.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial modeling, industry research, and competitive analysis.
• Prepare detailed memoranda and present findings to the credit committee.
• Assist in preparing termsheets, structuring and negotiating transaction terms, and executing transactions (including legal documentation).
• Support clients with their day-to-day banking needs such as account opening, etc., with the help of customer service officers.
• Coordinate and collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay current on new economy industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related fields
• At least 2 years working experience with an investment bank, venture capital funds, new economy start-ups, credit funds / institutions, corporate finance, and/or accounting firm, with exposure to SEA, China, or India (exposure to investing in new economy companies is preferred, but is not a pre-requisite).
• High level of interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, technical and financial modelling skills (including proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint).
• Able to work well in fast-paced environment, and deal with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently.
