The opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for an Associate/ Senior Associate with Valuations and Modelling focus to join our VME team within Financial Services SaT.
Your key responsibilities

• Deliver on engagements for fnancial services clients throughout Asia
• Build strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision maker
• As part of your career development, you will participate in / lead sales opportunities with senior team members and clients; assist in / lead preparing proposal documents; be supported in building client relationships at all levels.

Skills and attributes for success

• Valuation and Financial Modelling skills with a proven ability to create robust and flexible financial and valuations models based on the client\xe2\x80\x99s financial and operational information
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with a focus on building internal and external networks

To qualify for the role you must have

• 
  A Bachelor\'s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• At least 2 years of relevant experience for Associate OR 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience for Senior Associate in the fields of Valuation and Financial Modelling
• Good understanding of financial services sector: Banking, Insurance, Payments, WAM, Fintech
• Strong knowledge of visualization techniques/tools (e.g. Power BI, Spotfire), data modelling, and data transformation techniques
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and tools for predictive and descriptive analytics (e.g. R, Python, VBA, SQL). Python preferred
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
• A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team environment

Ideally, you also have (or are pursuing)

• CA/CPA or CFA
• Experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve outs
• Experience gained within another large professional services organization
• Established networking skills in a relevant industry
