The Role - Associate Service Engineer

• Work Location: Changi Airport
• Hours: 12 hours Shift (4-3-3-4 schedule)
• Salary: Basic + Allowances + AWS + Performance Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining baggage screening X-ray systems and components (e.g., Aircon units, UPS, conveyor system).
• Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Liaise with US technical support to resolve rare unfamiliar problem in system operation.
• Carry out quality inspection on PM jobs by technicians.
• Plan / prepare machine preventive maintenance schedule for own team.
• Conduct machine On-the-job training (OJT) for newly joined personnel.
• Obtain the highest customer satisfaction and comply with CAG / Leidos safety regulations.
• Report any unsafe acts / environment to the Service Manager immediately.
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, and handling of materials.
• Monitoring / Assessing performance of yourself, team members to make improvements or take corrective action.

Requirement:

• Candidates with Class 3 driving license is a PLUS and will be required to be an ad hoc driver occasionally.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Must be a team player. Collaborating with colleagues, including other engineers and support staff, to address complex issues.
• Adhering to ethical standards and respecting confidentiality, especially when dealing with proprietary information.
• Willing to work in dirty, hot, and humid environment
