Our Apprenticeship Program
Our Apprenticeship Program is a structured one year development program consisting of initial few months of virtual classroom training, followed by on-the-job training and mentorship. You will:

• Have access to world-class training and development resources allowing you to accelerate your career
• Learn the fundamentals of modern cloud computing and Oracle technologies
• Be aligned with mentors, and learn from and collaborate with some of the sharpest minds in the industry

This intensive program focuses on building a community of highly motivated technology professionals to drive innovation-oriented engagements with our customers. The program enables our apprentice employees to develop skills for success in a customer-oriented pre-sales role, with a career progression path within the Solution Engineering organization and beyond.
What You'll Do
The responsibilities of an Associate Solution Engineer at our Solution Engineering (SE) Hub are broad and the challenges are demanding. You will be expected to constantly deliver more - more innovation, more value for our customers, and more revenue. This position offers you an opportunity to work with customers across a variety of market segments and industries. In addition to understanding the key requirements of these businesses, you will deliver demonstrations to show the functional and technical capabilities of Oracle's Cloud solutions that meet the customer's needs.
As an Associate Cloud Solution Engineer Apprentice at SE Hub, you will:

• Work alongside other solution engineers and sales representatives to support business targets by providing technical and business consulting expertise for on-premises and cloud solutions
• Learn to do discovery calls, solution architecture designs, and delivery of solution demonstrations and high quality technical presentations to customers and prospect
• Learn to design, validate and present Oracle technical solutions in one or more technology domains
• Enhance your soft-skills, including communication and presentation skills by interacting with various stakeholders

Responsibilities:
What We Look For

• Demonstrated interest or basic knowledge in any one or more of the following areas:

o Open Source Technologies
o Cloud Computing - Cloud Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cloud Native, Kubernetes, DevOps, Multi-Cloud, Hybrid-Cloud environments
o Databases & Data Management
o AI / Gen AI, Data Science, ML, Analytics
o Programming languages - Java, Javascript, SQL, Python, CSS, Scala, etc * Strong personal drive and can-do attitude

• Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written English communication and active listening skills
• Ability to learn new products & technologies and adapt to new projects & environment quickly
• Good time management and organized
• Citizen or permanent resident of Singapore

2) Eligibility Criteria
Trainees eligible for the CLT must minimally be:

• Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).
• Able to commit to completing the full 12-month training programme.
• Able to meet the hiring requirements of the companies.
