Business FunctionGroup Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Responsibilities

• Address complex enterprise architecture design involving multiple component systems by

• Designing test automation strategies with the right combination of tools to effectively pinpoint automation bottlenecks
• Designing test with the correct testing parameters to effectively simulate the current vs future load under different scenarios
• Creating Test automation framework and SOP that can be aligned and shared across the platform to improve efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with engineers and architecture teams to analyze system functionalities and define requirements to create benchmark test suites for end to end test coverage.
• Design and run automation tests on a regular basis to ascertain critical functions are not impacted due to other indirect changes.
• Driving the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process
• Establishing test strategies and designing test plans and cases
• Developing and executing automated UI and functional tests
• Enhancing and maintaining automated Continuous Integration (CI) flows

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science (or related field) with minimum 2 years of direct hands-on test-engineering, IT experience
• Strong background in Test automation Engineering and Testing
• A complete understanding of the software development life cycle and various performance engineering concepts like caching and scalability
• Strong knowledge and experience with profiling application end to end performance and identifying application and hardware/operating system bottlenecks
• Knowledge of online operations topologies, microservices and hybrid architectures
• Metrics and data driven mindset with ability to define and manage appropriate test engineering KPI
• Must excel at building strong partner/customer relationships across a diverse customer base of varying needs and capabilities

Technical Requirements

• Experience with Unix, batch testing, Java and python and SQL
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Groovy, Ruby, Python).
• Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processes.
• Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• A strong hands-on experience with monitoring, profiling and diagnostics tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace,
• Service virtualisation and Network Condition testing experience
• Working knowledge of databases and tuning for example Oracle and SQL Server
• Experience of test management and defect tracking tools
• Knowledge of Internet protocols and technologies (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, FTP)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fantastic communication and presentation abilities
