You will play a key role in supporting the New Business administrative team by ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering timely, accurate services to both internal and external stakeholders.
Handle daily transactions relating to New Business Underwriting, including new applications, medical/premium billing, refunds & despatch matters.
Coordinate and collaborate with intermediaries and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth service delivery
Identify operational gaps and contribute to streamlining workflows and enhancing team efficiency
Provide front-line support at the NBU counter, addressing intermediaries' enquiries and ensuring timely processing of new business transactions. (on rotational basis)
Other duties include (but not limited to), back-up duties during team member's absence and other ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned to support business operations
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree holder and above in related discipline (Banking/ Finance/ Business/ Accounting)
Possess 1-3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry or administrative roles.
Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate work with strong attention to detail, along with effective communication skills across teams and external stakeholders.
Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
Computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office (eg Excel, Word) applications
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
Dedicated team player with strong & flexible time management to support peak period whenever required.
