Work Mode: Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and create animations for real-time game assets; Assist designers and engineers with gameplay prototypes; Work with the lead animator to ensure the timely completion of character assets at the desired quality bar. Serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques and reviews; Work with level artists, level designers, character designers and programmers to implement and troubleshoot FX; Create art assets that demonstrate advanced techniques; Be a proactive problem solver with a solid grasp of art and design principles. Requirements: Exceptional skill in animating the human bipedal figure as well as other organic forms; Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and how they can be used to enhance gameplay; Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude; Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group Proven problem-solving / prototyping ability; Able to effectively collaborate with game designers and programmers; Strong experience working with real-time particle engines and geometric FX as demonstrated by a strong portfolio; Strong understanding of color, composition, and timing; Texture creation expertise by hand, photos or other packages; Good modeling, UV-ing, rigging and animating skills; Solid understanding of art pipelines and how to get the most out of them; Strong communication skills.
