19 September 2024We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Associate Vice President (AVP) for Web Applications, Payment Gateway, and Communications. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong techno-functional background in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in document management systems, API integration, SQL, system architecture, and chatbot technologies. The role involves leading projects that integrate high-level technology solutions while managing internal and external stakeholders effectively.Mandatory Skill(s)

• Education : Graduate or Post-Graduate in any discipline
• Work experience: 5-8 years of experience, with 2-3 years in the insurance industry
• Techno-functional understanding of the insurance industry
• Experience with Document Management Systems (any DMS)
• Experience with event-driven architecture and high-level system design is highly desired
• Strong knowledge of API/service layers, REST & SOAP
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) including triggers, procedures, and best practices
• Familiarity with batch jobs, Java runnable jars, and background in Java/J2EE or .NET
• Understanding of chatbot development and AI/ML use cases in insurance
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka implementation
• Experience with online payment gateways and integrated systems
• Stakeholder management and project management skills

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) principles
• Familiarity with integrated systems and online payment gateways

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of web applications, payment gateway systems, and communication platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design high-level system architectures and event-driven solutions
• Ensure efficient use of APIs, service layers, and batch jobs for optimal integration across platforms
• Develop and implement document management solutions aligned with business goals
• Lead the deployment of chatbots and AI/ML initiatives within the insurance domain
• Manage database-related activities, ensuring best practices are followed, including the use of SQL triggers and procedures
• Oversee the implementation of Kafka and integration with online payment systems
• Provide project leadership, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful project outcomes
