Why This Role Is Valuable Ensuring the delivery of high quality financial information and monitoring of day to day matters of the Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) owned by the Blackstone Real Estate Funds investing across Asia. How You Add Value (including but are not limited to) Deal Onboarding: . Build & manage acquisition timeline and support Blackstone Finance team on acquisition activities . Review acquisition funds flow through the deal structure and oversee the execution . Review acquisition documents and keep track of key activities . Co-ordinate with Legal advisors on the onboarding of finance/tax/treasury-related documents . Ascertain and manage closing cost & working capital as part of the deal acquisition Deal Management: . Capitalize funding per the deal structure & tax requirements and monitor it throughout the deal life cycle . Ensure timely approval and payment of invoices . Review quarterly management accounts for projects under your allocation . Review quarterly valuation deliverables to Blackstone like NAV, Debt valuation and Cash Analysis . Manage working capital and closing cost as part of quarterly reporting . Analyze cash flow requirement in each project and finalise distribution amount quarterly . Review solvency test and ensure compliance with legal requirements as part of the distribution . Review and finalise documentation for all funds movements working closely with cosec and legal teams . Prepare/ Review Adhoc capital movement through the deal structure . Review and guide team on key financial transactions (including JE booking) . Manage relationship with JV Partners/Platforms/ Service providers for various deliverables . Summarize & analyse quarterly NAV fluctuation for stakeholders . Perform intercompany reconciliation with JV Partners/Platforms/ Service providers . Manage external financing linked to the project: Draw, interest payment, repayment, covenant compliance . Manage statutory audit and review financial statements of entities under your allocation . Review deal book and ensure deal structures are updated Deal Disposition & Liquidation: . Disposition management: fund flow management, onshore coordination and tax reviews . End-to-end liquidation of offshore SPVs ensuring compliance (not limited) to SPA and regulatory requirements Team Management . Responsible for onboarding of new team members . Monitors appropriateness of team structure and workload across Singapore & India (COE) . Assess training requirements to keep team members up to date with relevant requirements . Proactively manage expectations, set targets, and provide feedback to team members Other Responsibilities . Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for all financial reporting processes . Liaison with 3rd party administrators and finance teams across Asia . Ad hoc project work. What You Bring To The Role . Language: Fluent in English Chinese or Japanese beneficial but not mandatory . 7 years' + experience in a relevant industry . Chartered Accountant or equivalent . Bachelors (or equivalent) in Finance/Economics . Private Equity Real Estate, Fund Administration experience beneficial . Tax Structuring knowledge beneficial . Master's Degree a plus .
