Our esteemed client is searching for an enterprising, self-motivated individual to step into the role of Associate Director / Director, Global Institutional Sales. Based in Singapore, this exciting position is newly created to pioneer growth, cultivate strategic partnerships, and influence the institutional sales landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Business Development

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales & Distribution to devise and implement comprehensive sales strategies, identifying business opportunities and nurturing strategic partnerships within assigned regions or sub-regions.
  • Execute targeted business plans focused on expanding institutional sales, with emphasis on AUM growth and market penetration.
  • Present compelling pitches to prospective clients, securing new mandates.
  • Support business development by creating impactful marketing materials, addressing due diligence inquiries, and managing requests for proposals.
Product Development and Client Engagement
  • Contribute actively to new product development and positioning, collaborating with product and marketing teams to ensure alignment with client needs.
  • Enhance brand awareness among investors unfamiliar with the firm through participation in investment conferences and seminars.
  • Facilitate seamless internal and external coordination of the sales process, tailoring approaches to meet investor requirements.
  • Maintain precise client records, document sales activities, and accurately capture information about current and prospective investors within our CRM system.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or related field, along with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate a track record of achievement in a similar role within a principal investor or financial services firm, with a strong focus on the institutional client segment.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, fostering effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Showcase a solutions-oriented mindset coupled with a robust entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Display team-oriented qualities, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and a hands-on approach to work.
  • CFA designation preferred.
  • Essential proficiency in business-level Mandarin is required, as the role primarily covers the North Asia region, including Greater China.
