Corporate Development Group • Strategy@YR - Strategic & Corporate Planning, Resource Planning, Organisation Development & Staff Engagement and Policy, Research & Analytics • Corporate Services@YR- Finance and Administration • People@YR - Strategic HR, Career Development & Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Recruitment and HR Business Partnerships Requirements • Background from any discipline. • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. • Driven, self-motivated and open to change. • Able to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision. • Team player with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. • Passion in serving the rehabilitation and aftercare sector. Currently, we have the following position available (not limited to the following): Associate/Senior Associate (Planning & Transformation) • Coordinate YRSG’s strategic and corporate planning activities in support of YRSG’s vision and mission. This included the monitoring of corporate performance. • Provide secretariat support to YRSG Board and Leadership team including the coordination of all key meetings and retreats. • Support organisational transformation efforts to build an engaged workforce.

What you will be working on
Strategic Planning and Corporate Performance Management • Coordinate with Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on corporate planning and performance management matters (i.e., workplan and budget submission, review of HT-KPIs and targets, and submission of HT-KPI results, etc.). • Coordinate with Singapore Prison Service (SPS)’s Strategic Planning Division for cross-agency planning work and activities, including retreats and review of joint KPIs, etc. • Translate knowledge and insights into actionable frameworks, strategy recommendations and performance implications. • Perform written and verbal communications, including developing presentation materials and presenting to external stakeholders, management, and staff. • Plan and organise key planning platforms such as meetings and retreats for YRSG EXCO and YRSG Board for team development, strategy formulation, and other objectives. Secretariat Support to YRSG Board and Leadership Team • Perform secretariat duties for corporate-level and other assigned meetings, including but not limited to Annual Workplan and Budget Meeting Minister, CNB-SPS-YRSG D-EXCO Meeting, SPS-YRSG Ministerial Meeting, YRSG Board Meeting, Joint EXCO Meeting with subsidiary and internal EXCO Meeting. • Provide staff work guidance to note-takers for internal meetings. • Maintain Board Members’ records and serve as YRSG’s Point-of-Contact for Board Members. • Address Board Members’ concerns and communicate key information to them (including changes in leadership, YRSG key events, etc.). • Facilitate Board Members’ award nominations. • Work with Board Committee Secretariats in areas including Board Committee renewal, appointment and termination, and award nomination • Plan and facilitate Board visits to prison institutions and YRSG training workshops. Organisational Transformation • Review organisational planning procedures and policies to ensure relevance and increase effectiveness and efficiency. • Support Organisational Development team to build an engaged workforce.
What we are looking for
- Background n social sciences. - Prior experience in corporate/strategic planning or project management would be an advantage. - Meticulous, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Strong in staff work and secretariat support. - Ability to work in fast-paced environment. - Strong interpersonal skills and can collaborate well with multiple stakeholders.
