You will strive to build a high-performance enterprise data infrastructure, and create a results-driven approach with data products.What will you do as a Platform Engineer (Master Data Management)?
You will play a key role in delivering technical solution forming key project deliverables and milestones, which will shape the future of GIC applications performing trades, valuation, compliance, risk management, and reporting, while developing yourself professionally in Financial Industry in the following areas:

• As you build a data platform, you will sharpen your skills on data engineering and system integration, while delivering technical solutions on data modelling, event-driven messaging, data publishing and bulk data transformation
• You will work closely with teammates and vendor partners both within and beyond the project team to deliver an integrated technical solution which works end-to-end
• Work closely with data product team and business end-users to implement and support the data mastering platform
• Design and build robust and scalable data ingestion and data management solutions for batch-loading and streaming data sources
• Enable ingestion checks and data quality checks for all data sets in the data platform and ensure the data issues are actively detected, tracked, and fixed without breaching SLA
• Work with members in the team to establish best practice and internal processes to enhance the data pipeline operations

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• Experienced in technologies around applications and integration
• Experience working with application-to-application APIs
• Proficient in data modelling, database design and data migration
• At least 4 years of experience working in either Java or Python
• Exposure and knowledge in the following technologies is advantageous:

• Snowflake, Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL
• IBM-MQ, Kafka
• AWS (SQS, SNS, RDS)
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Good team player who is keen to learn and able to work independently
• Possesses strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
