Job Description

The person will work closely with the Fund Controllers to deliver financial and investor reporting, financial accounting for select investments, be part of the fund operations team supporting investment activity for the Funds.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the fund operations team to deliver financial accounting for real estate investments held by the funds including generating management and statutory accounts for such entities.
• Prepare, manage, coordinate, proof and input various operational data for internal reporting purposes to be used to report to senior management, investors, regulators, etc.
• Prepare, manage investor reporting for the funds and investor accounts.
• Assist with due diligence questionnaires, RFIs and other reports as required by Investor Relations
• Manage processes for opening, operation and closure of bank accounts.
• Manage AP process and effect payments/disbursements.
• Liaise with company secretary/fund administrator on corporate secretarial and administration matters for proper maintenance of all legal entities and documentation of transactions e.g. board/shareholders\xe2\x80\x99 resolutions, shareholders\xe2\x80\x99 loan agreements etc
• Liaise with company secretary/legal counsel on financial matters related to initial set-up and liquidation of entities e.g. capital requirements, tax clearance
• Assist with providing responses to requests for information (RFI) and due diligence questionnaires from existing and potential investors.

Skills & Competencies

• BS in accounting or finance required with minimum of 2 years of accounting experience within a real estate funds sector
