As a Assistant Manager / Manager (Development Project Services), you will be part of a team to ensure that the needs of the hospital stakeholders are incorporated in the new development such that the completed buildings are fit for its purpose and function. This will involve coordinating with stakeholders to understand their operational needs, working together with MOHH (including Consultants and Contractors) and involvement in planning and managing all projects assigned to effectively meet the cost, time and quality targets.
The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
Lead and supervise reporting executives to ensure accuracy and timely completeness of tasks
Coordinate non-clinical requirements among users, workgroups, MOHH and project team from planning, design, tender, construction stage to handover and operationalisation of building, as well as scheduling, preparing of presentation slides and documenting the various meetings to facilitate discussion and prompt follow-ups from relevant parties
Update and track development projects assigned, project schedule and activities for submission to MOHH and internal planning purposes
Attend meetings and discussions with users, workgroups, MOHH and project team while being involved in review of all design proposals, hospital planning, with special focus on the non-clinical functions of the project development
Assist users to plan, manage and integrate critical resources to develop the best solutions/practices in line with the business objectives and strategies
Prepare/ vet of powerpoint slides and relevant documents, to facilitate discussion and prompt follow-ups from stakeholders and/or relevant key parties
Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/ Department Head
Requirements:
Bachelor in Building, Project Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Development Projects
Experienced in managing, coordinating projects, communicating effectively with users, contractors and other consultants
Self-driven
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Team player who works well under pressure and able to adhere to tight deadlines
Well-versed in MS Office Applications
Experience in planning healthcare developments will be an advantage
This role is initially offered as a full-time contract for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal.
