Anchored in our values of Passion for Sport, Strength through Teamwork and Care for People, we believe in working and playing, not just as a team, but as a family.What you will be working on:This incumbent should aspire to develop highly competent coaches deployed in Sport Development Group who are professional in their delivery of programmes and initiatives, practitioners of sport safety and safe sport, and champions in inculcating A&Cs core values, and build a culture that is essential for participants to reach their full sporting potential, be anchored on strong values well as to sustain lifelong sport participation. Role & Responsibilities xe2x80xa2 To work closely with internal & external stakeholders to enhance the programme and coaches' ability to better contribute to overall outcomes and narratives placing emphasis on sport safety and safe sport xe2x80xa2 To work closely with internal & external stakeholders to augment the A&Cs curriculum xe2x80xa2 To identify areas of synergy and integration, improvements and propose recommended solutions to improve overall experience for all stakeholders xe2x80xa2 To conduct needs analysis, design and implement impact measurement tools to demonstrate the impact of Sport Safety & Safe Sport xe2x80xa2 To work closely with all A&Cs Leads to ensure quality engagement of coaches xe2x80xa2 To manage and monitor coaches' NROC membership and other relevant coaching status to safeguard SportSG's interest xe2x80xa2 To liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. CoachSG, Sports Safety, ATC) to design and develop training curriculum for coaches plus mapping out the areas of collaboration xe2x80xa2 To work with external stakeholders (e.g. NSA, NYSI, overseas partners) on the delivery of professional enhancement courses for A&Cs coaches xe2x80xa2 To actively source for potential partnerships and outreach platforms and channels that will increase the awareness and mindshare of the coaches. xe2x80xa2 To ensure all administrative matters are attended to promptly and record management are archived appropriately xe2x80xa2 To support the Team Lead and assigned roles whenever required xe2x80xa2 To support events and initiatives organised/ supported/ partnered by the academies and clubs, and SDG in general. xe2x80xa2 All other admin functions that required to perform for the teamWhat we are looking for:We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: xe2x80xa2 At least 5 years of proven experience and/ track record in relevant areas, e.g. sport/coaching development, physical education related areas xe2x80xa2 Good understanding of Singapore sporting ecosystem xe2x80xa2 Experience in developing, evaluating programmes and curriculum xe2x80xa2 Prior experience in coach development, Sport Safety and Safe Sport will be an advantage xe2x80xa2 Able to manage and lead people of diverse backgrounds and different positions xe2x80xa2 Self-motivated and able to work independently xe2x80xa2 Good organisational, management and administrative skills xe2x80xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills xe2x80xa2 Good planning, organising and project management skills xe2x80xa2 Able to multi-task and meet deadlines xe2x80xa2 Has the passion for sport The level of offer will commensurate with applicants' experience and track records.
