Job Description


[What the role is]

The incumbent will be responsible for the development of digital content for adults and seniors aged 18 and above to drive awareness and interest in topics, in relation to NLB\xe2\x80\x99s six Learning Focus Areas (digital, career, sustainability, health, science and arts & culture) under the Libraries and Archives Blueprint 2021-2025 (LAB25).

[What you will be working on]

1. Develop Digital Content and Learning Pathways

  • Conduct research to identify learning needs and learning objectives of target learner personas
  • Identify existing content market gaps &/or opportunities for value creation for evergreen and trending sub-topics in NLB\xe2\x80\x99s Learning Focus Area(s)
  • Design learner-centric learning pathways comprising appropriate NLB &/or partner-owned learning resources (e.g. e-books, videos, online articles, infographics), following NLB\xe2\x80\x99s learning pathway framework to facilitate deeper exploration of the topic and/or exploration of adjacent topics
  • Source for and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and validate the design brief for the digital resource to be produced, ensuring that key stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 objectives and NLB\xe2\x80\x99s organisational standards are met
  • Curate and co-develop digital content and/or learning pathway(s) in an agile manner, in close consultation with subject matter experts &/or other key stakeholders
  • Where required, procure services of production vendor(s) and manage vendor to ensure that design brief specifications are met and the digital content resource is completed within stipulated time
2. Publish and Promote Digital Content Views
  • Engage and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that NLB digital platforms are designed to optimise discoverability, views and click-throughs of digital content &/or learning pathways
  • Support development and execution of strategies for SEO and omni-channel marketing to enhance reach and conversion of target audience; this should include engaging programme owners of relevant Learning Focus Area(s) to enhance cross-promotion of NLB content and programmes
  • Curate, edit and format provided/ existing contents to suit the medium of publication
  • Research, identify and propose new digital engagement opportunities
  • Ensure that all contents are aligned to branding and IP guidelines, and are properly cleared for use on public digital platforms
3. Manage Analytics and Tracking for Continuous Improvement
  • Manage the regular tracking and collation of digital performance data and other related metrics
  • Analyse data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities to enhance adoption of digital resources and/or learning pathways;
  • Develop and support implementation of actionable recommendations to improve desired customer behaviour for engagement and conversion
[What we are looking for]

- Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply

- Strong communications and project management skills
- Strong online content and/or social media curatorial skills
- Knowledge of some or all of the following: data analytics, web metrics analysis, digital marketing, social media marketing
- Familiarity in IP and copyrights, especially in digital related media
- Digital imaging and design skills is a bonus

Successful applicant will be appointed on a project contract until 31 Dec 2025.

Work location will be at the National Library Building, 100 Victoria Street Singapore 188064.
