Job Description


What the role is:The Education & Manpower Development (E&MD) team oversees policies and programmes which aim to build a skilled arts workforce that will shape Singapore\'s cultural development.The contract staff will be part of the Manpower Development team overseeing the process of endorsing Training Providers (TPs) and their arts courses for SkillsFuture Credit (SFC). This includes the processing of applications as well as the managing, uploading, and updating of course information on SkillsFuture course directory in a timely manner. The staff will also be required to work closely with TPs and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) to support them in troubleshooting technical issues and managing enquiries. There is also opportunity to be involved in the continuous review of the design and implementation of the SFC endorsement process.In addition to managing the SFC endorsement, staff\'s scope of work will also include providing data maintenance support for the MD team (updating internal database for Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Award Funding, collation of Capability Development Grant details and trends, etc).The staff should have be able to work proactively, possess problem-solving and strong communication skills and be able to liaise across internal and external stakeholders. Prior experience in public service or in a customer support / technical support role is an advantage.What you will be working on:

  • Evaluate and endorse Training Providers (TPs) and their course for Skillsfuture Credit(SFC) eligibility, including onboarding of new TPs. This includes processing of applications and to manage, upload and update course information on SkillsFuture course directory in a timely manner
  • Ensure training providers adhere to SFC guidelines and requirements, including monitoring pricing, marketing, course take up and outcomes, and assist TPs in administering SSG\'s e- attendance and post programme survey.
  • Support TPs on technical errors and claims related issues, as well as manage enquiries related to the application process.
  • Coordinate across Training Providers, NAC departments and other public agencies.
  • Manage the design, implementation and evaluation of SFC endorsement processes as well as communication with SSG and training providers.
  • Tracking and Documentation of course application materials, including updating course masterlist.
  • Providing data maintenance support for the MD team (updating internal database for Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Award Funding, collation of Capability Development Grant details and trends, etc).
