Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading and managing AKSS QMS improvement initiative across all departments and functions to ensure quality initiatives and quality plans are executed and maintained in full compliance with IATF requirements. This includes addressing issues from quality management oversight and helping the site management team to execute effectively the quality enhancement activities.

Assists Quality Manager in driving and applying risk management principles based on the analysis of context of organization, formulate goals and objectives to address risk and opportunities as part of organization strategy and performance indicators.

Lead the QA Weekly Meeting and monthly Production Quality Meeting (PQM). Follow up any action generated from the meeting until closure.

Support Quality Manager in managing and handling customer complaint, customer feedback and related investigation. Review 8D Report prepared by the QA team before submission to Quality Manager.

Support Quality Manager in reviewing and reporting Quality Objectives\' achievement status periodically and propose necessary actions.

Assists Quality Manager in promoting awareness of Quality Policy, Quality Objectives and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) throughout AKSS organization.

Promote and foster a culture that champions quality and continuous improvement.

Liaise with external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process.

Ensure the QA team review and update CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) regularly. Ensure all AKSS employees understand and conform to CSR by providing training and awareness.

Identify internal and external issues relevant to the QMS and analyze needs and expectations of interested parties by defining actions to address Risk & Opportunities.

Guide the QA team in managing IATF Core Tools (PPAP/APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) documentation and reports.

In the absent of Quality Manager, act as the backup Reviewer and Approver for AKSS Management of Change (MOC) and Non-Regular Work (NRW).

Ensure that all Supplier Raw Material used by AKSS are evaluated, monitored and checked according to Specifications. Ensure that records of this assessment are maintained.

Manage customer complaints in AKSS ETQ (Excellence Through Quality) Database and review / approve 8D report from relevant departments before submiting to Quality Manager.

Ensure that all quality staffs and internal auditors are competent and have required skills and experience.

Lead, manage and supervise QA personnel

Review and approve IATF FMEA and Control Plan.

Review PPAP documents according to customer level of quality requirements

Drive continuous improvement and support R&D department on new product development (when and if needed).

Ensure Internal Audit Program is implemented and be the Lead Auditor for 1st party and 2nd party Quality Audit.

Responsible for internal and external audits (include customer audits) and ensure all audit findings are addressed and closed.

Manage and review batch release activities for production including but not limited to review of product grading records, analytical data, Certificate of Analysis(COA)andother documents as needed for consistency with applicable regulations and for compliance with AKSS Quality System.

Act as the backup Approver for the batch release activities including but not limited to review of product grading records, analytical data, Certificate of Analysis (COA) and other documents.

Non-conformity correction, storage, identification, logistics (shipment) work of final product.

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering or chemistry (BS Chemical Engineering / Chemistry) or equivalent.
• 5 - 10 years plus working experience in Quality Assurance/Audit function.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar quality systems and experience in facing quality audits.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including teamwork, communication, prioritization and change management
