Clarion Events Asia is looking for a highly motivated audience development intern for our upcoming power & energy event, Enlit Asia! Enlit Asia is the unifying brand for POWERGEN Asia and Asian Utility Week, showcasing expert knowledge, innovative solutions and foresight from industry leaders, coherent with ASEAN\'s strategy to achieve a smooth transition towards a low-carbon energy future. Our flagship event attracts more than 12,000 senior executives across the power and energy sector in ASEAN, and this year it will take place in Jakarta on 14-16 November 2023. In addition to this, you will also gain exposure in promoting another small-scaled event which is part of the power and energy portfolio. If you are a fresh graduate from university or looking for an internship in the events sector, this is the perfect opportunity for you to gain experience in marketing of events, specifically in driving delegate attendance.


Internship Period: April to November 2023 Key Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred
• Degree qualified or undergraduate looking for an experience in event industry may be considered
• Candidate who can commit 5 days a week for 6-9 months
• Fluent speaking and writing in English. Fluent speaking and writing in Bahasa is a bonus.
• Strong relationship building skills, stakeholder management to ensure customer satisfaction
• Highly performance driven, possessing exceptional interpersonal qualities and able to work independently and in a team
• Dependable \xe2\x80\x93 takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments
• Able to work with tight deadlines, manage time and balance tasks between multiple events
• Excellent communication skills
• Detailed oriented, organised and tech savvy

Job Specifications:

• To manage and invite our target audience from power utilities and independent power producers in ASEAN to attend our upcoming events, Enlit Asia and The Future of the Grid
• To manage our hosted buyer programme, working closely with our team in reviewing the hosted buyer applications
• To liaise with our hosted buyers on meetings etc., and other ad hoc duties
