Work you\'ll do

Deloitte\'s Audit & Assurance provide audit, accounting and regulatory advice, and attest and attest-related services. As Audit and Assurance practice constantly evolves, our professionals use automation for routine tasks, data-driven analytics for deeper and more insightful view as well as cloud-based technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance problem-solving. The use of digital audit experience improves the quality of our audits and provide our clients with deeper insights. We also advise clients in areas such as initial public offerings, internal controls, Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards, US GAAP and regulatory compliance.

You will undergo a 30-week structured internship program which allows you to have hands-on experience with Deloitte\'s holistic global platforms, Deloitte Omnia (cloud-based) and Deloitte Levvia when carrying out audit client engagements. Through these platforms, you can acquire technical skills and knowledge on integrating cognitive technologies, AI and advanced data analytics. From on-the-job training, coaching from Deloitte\'s Audit & Assurance leaders and managers, to out-of-classroom learning in field audit, you will get to participate in reimagining the future of audit and better interlace your academic learning with practice. You will gain exposure to real-world processes by performing and assisting cross-border audit engagement teams in a variety of assurance and testing work for a portfolio of diversified clients in different industries.

Upon successful completion of the program, you may receive a priority offer for full-time position as an Audit Analyst (equivalent to 2nd year Associate) upon your graduation.

Requirements
We are looking for accountancy undergraduates with a strong interest in a career with Audit & Assurance, excellent inter-personal, analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Under the Deloitte Accelerated Career Program - FasTrack, interns will commit to an internship period of 30 accumulative weeks, which can be completed in either a single phase (30 weeks) or two phases (10 and 20 weeks).

To note:

For undergraduates who have previously completed an Audit internship stint with Deloitte Singapore during Polytechnic studies, please refer to the job posting for the Propel Program which you may be eligible for.

For undergraduates who are interested in the short-term internship program of minimum 5 weeks, please refer to the job posting for the Winter Internship which you may be eligible for.

For undergraduates who join in Winter, you will commit to an internship period of minimum 8 weeks. Should you join in Summer, the minimum commitment period will be 10 weeks.

For undergraduates from the Singapore Management University, the start date of the internship is 4 December 2023. For undergraduates from other universities, the start date will be 11 December 2023.
