Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive maintenance and optimization activities for the site automation and control systems
• Provide supports for troubleshooting and start-up of the site automation, control systems
• Provide functional training on the site automation, control systems to plant personnel
• Perform SAP transactions on Plant Maintenance module and coordinate predictive, preventive maintenance work, including breakdown maintenance and plant modification. Ensure timely closure of work orders in M-ERP
• Support planning, coordinating and executing of plant shut down activities
• Support plant improvement initiatives and projects
• Update site standard operating procedures, work instructions and drawings associated with automation, control systems
• Perform routine Level 1 EHS, quality and engineering audit to support inspection readiness
• Support in engineering performance management
• Support in Change Management via implementing automation and control system change in supporting routine improvement and projects
• Support in automation, control systems maintenance life cycle plan by conduct criticality assessment to determine maintenance priority and routinely updating of Facilities Master Plan (FMP) and trigger obsolete asset replacement via capital project
• Perform automation and control system periodic reviews as per site periodic review plan
• Promote and embrace client's Production System (GPS) to drive Safety, Quality, Supply Performance and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects that lead to overall safety, quality and cost improvement e.g. improve system reliability, standardization, etc
  

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation and Control or Chemical Engineering or other engineering field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or petrol-chemical industry
• Knowledge of DeltaV DCS is essential
• Knowledge of GMP and EHS requirements
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC is advantage
• Good knowledge on batch process is advantage
• Knowledge of SIL (Safety Integrity Level) study is advantage
• Knowledge of SAP is advantage
• Able to start work within short notice
• Must be comfortable with Contract basis
