- Participate in Product Centric Teams (PCTs) for support in understanding and deployment of Unit Operations, production recipes on PCS, design of automation solutions to enhance productivity, business operations and safety/quality standards
- Troubleshoot automation control system issues in manufacturing operations. Participate and lead quality / safety investigations and implement optimal automation solutions resulting as CAPA from these investigations
- Participate as automation representative in capital projects involving automation systems interface for Equipment, Tank Farm, Waster Water, Production, facilities and utilities environment
- Periodically review and validate new automation systems and changes to existing site systems. Review, audit, improve and update existing system documentation and procedures
- Perform automation systems preventive maintenance, identify and address issues at control logic and recipe level, 3rd party interfaces with PCS, Enterprise Historian, MES
- Perform complex preventive maintenance activities on Process Control System in conjunction with vendors
- Identify and address fundamental software issues across the Process Control System through knowledge sharing discussions
- Identify and address complex system level / architecture level issues and get these accepted by global sites
- Provide training to end users related to PCS (process control system)
