Job Description
Our client is a multinational company in the Contract Manufacuting industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their Engineer team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North – easily accessible.
The responsibles are:
- Responsible in understanding factory automation technology and equipment such as robots, automated guided-vehicles and computerised manufacturing system (ie. AMHS)
- Responsible in designing, modifying, implementing and testing automated machines, programs, jig and fixture to required job specification in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Responsible in coordinating and handling follow-up activities with external & internal parties concerning technical developments, scheduling and resolution of engineering design and test problems.
- Responsible in setting up new machines, transferring of equipment at different plants and integration to existing system. Responsible in supervising installation crews and support the field installation work.
- Responsible in project managing on cost, quality, scope and schedule to ensure timely delivery of project and keep cost within budget.
- At least 2 years of automation experience in manufacturing industry
- Minimum diploma in any discipline
