Reporting to: Automation Manager, Singapore

Overview

Engineering design, develop, and implement LV electrical automation systems ensuring efficient and reliable operation. Support project execution, test & commissioning, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Core responsibilities

Responsible for PLC programming and HMI development according to project requirements. Liaise with supplier on component price and lead time. Provide support to project/sales team in quotations and costing. Participate in intercompany disciplines meetings. Participate in technical meetings with clients. Review design drawings and network diagrams. Perform troubleshooting during testing and commissioning onsite ensuring quality & safety standards are met. Prepare FAT and SAT report documentation for testing and commissioning. Prepare FDS documentation for submission to client. Travel overseas for job commissioning. Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company quality policies.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma/ITE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering. 3-5 years relevant experiences in automation. Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to response to client enquiries in a timely & professional manner. Willing & able to travel on short notice. Demonstrated ability to manage projects to meet deadlines and ensure successful delivery. Demonstrates a positive mindset and resilience in challenging situations. Demonstrates strong commitment and dedication to work Demonstrates strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively Experience in LV (Low Voltage) electrical design will be an advantage. Knowledge on iFix, Wincc, Wonderware will be an advantage. Familiarity with Siemens PLC, TIA Portal, Step 7, Simcode will be an advantage. * Knowledge on OT Cyber Security will be an advantage.
