Key ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will

Provide project support or daily operation support to MNC clients in the area of automation. Lead project role would be given to suitably experienced candidate.
Design and implement process automation systems and solutions to manage a batch chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Validate new systems and changes to existing systems. Audit and update existing system documentation and procedures
Manage software development projects from design to implementation for new automation/data collection systems and expansion to existing systems
Support troubleshooting and investigation of production process, equipment, systems and code/configuration related to quality or safety issues. Implement the relevant improvement solutionsRequirements
Diploma/Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering
Experience in Emerson DeltaV system would be added advantage.
Working experience in the life science manufacturing industry would be added advantage
Good skills in Windows operating system administration, programmable logic controllers, databases and general programming would be added advantage
Good teamwork and communication skills; ability to interact across functional teams at multiple levels within the organization
Excellent problem-solving ability and customer-focused
