What You Will Achieve
Working with Pfizer\xe2\x80\x99s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing information systems to improve manufacturing success rates and ensuring zero down time. You will integrate manufacturing, process operational knowledge, equipment control and data into systems, which enforces the sequence of operations across departments.
As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute in achieving project tasks and goals. Through your domain knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative team environment for your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Provide 24x7 support of our automation systems.
  • Perform Day-to-Day Periodic Maintenance activities of the automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot automation control system issues in manufacturing operations. Participate in quality / safety investigations and implement optimal automation solutions resulting as CAPA from these investigations.

  • Resolve various Automation systems application software / architecture / infrastructure related issues, along with support from vendors.

  • Monitor issues to identify and develop preventative solutions.

  • Periodically review and validate new automation systems and changes to existing site systems. Review, audit, improve and update existing system documentation and procedures.

  • Implement changes per site change control procedure.

  • Deploy and test our automated processes, systems and equipment.
  • Execute Good Manufacturing Practices and verification protocols.

  • Provide training to end users related to PCS (process control system)
  • Contribute to the completion of project milestones, organize own work to meet project
    task deadlines, and communicate progress and issues to peers.


Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Degree in Chemical / Electrical / Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

  • Hands-on experience with engineering design and validation

  • Structured query language knowledge

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and can meet project task deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Nice-to-Have

  • 2 years of experience in Process Automation, preferably in a batch manufacturing environment; Extensive knowledge and experience in process automation system, preferably in Emerson DeltaV or Siemens PLC.

  • Pharmaceutical industry engineering experience
