Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient test automation frameworks for API and backend testing Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage Strong proficiency in Java or JavaScript languages. This is required to write custom code, create add-ons, and handle complex scenarios that may arise during the automation testing process. Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline Analyze and report on test results, identifying and documenting defects and areas for improvement Experience with custom frameworks like Selenium with Java is desirable. Experience with any low code automation tool like TestSigma, Tricentis Testim, Katalon or similar is good to have. Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the test automation domain

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on backend and API testing Proficient in JavaScript programming language. Hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Pytest, Requests) Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other data formats Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases for test data management Familiarity with React and front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Pay: $8,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
