AV Support Officer
Contract Period: 15 September 2025 to 31 December 2026
Work Location: 170 Yishun Avenue 6, Singapore 768959
Working Hours
During School Days:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 7:00 AM to 4:15 PM (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break)
During School Holidays:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break)
No service required on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Scope of Services
The AV Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical and operational support related to the school's AV and multimedia systems. The services include, but are not limited to, the following: Public Address (PA) System
Handle PA system issues and coordinate with vendors for unresolved problems, installation, and maintenance. Audio-Visual Resources
Provide AV/Multimedia support to staff for lessons, CCAs, exams, meetings, events, and school functions.
Set up and manage AV equipment during school events, meetings, and examinations as per staff requests.
Maintain inventory and loan records of AV and PA-related equipment and perform regular checks.
Collaborate with the ICT team (ICT Manager/Associate, Desktop Engineers) and Infocomm Club (CCA) for AV requirements.
Advise staff on AV setup for teaching, exams, and events.
Monitor and maintain AV equipment in classrooms and special rooms on a termly basis.
Conduct half-yearly preventive maintenance for classroom projectors and visualizers.
Troubleshoot AV issues and suggest or implement solutions proactively.
Guide and interact with students in managing AV equipment during school activities. Other Duties
Support staff in producing educational and school-related videos using tools like iMovie, Filmora, or Canva.
Provide assistance in basic video editing tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should preferably possess the following:
A relevant certification in audio, video, or media production.
At least 1 year of experience working with AV equipment.
At least 1 year of experience in managing broadcasting during events.
At least 1 year of experience in a school-based environment is preferred.
