  • The jobholder is responsible for guiding the team working on the business planning, stress testing, Economic Capital and other reporting requirements in the Life Actuarial Department to support business needs and reports to the Head of Economic Capital and Stress Testing
  • The jobholder is responsible for Business Planning, Prophet Model Testing & Model Governance and regular update to various management committees
  • The jobholder will also provide support on Balance Sheet optimization projects and ad-hoc projects
  • The jobholder works closely with the regional office, external actuarial consultants, internal & external auditors and regulators, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines in the IFIM and statutory regulations
Requirements
  • Newly/Nearly Qualified Actuary from a recognized Actuarial examination body
  • At least 6 years of Actuarial experience
  • In depth experience with reporting processes and the reporting control environment
  • Knowledge of Singapore reporting standard, RBC2, is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and at times rapidly evolving priorities
  • Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong Prophet skills is an advantage
  • Team managing experience is an advantage
