Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
About the Role As a member of our Investment & Trading Technology Software Engineering Group, we are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who are passionate around solving business problems in the domain of Finance and Accounting, through innovation & engineering practices. Applying your depth of expertise, you will drive all aspects of agile software product development lifecycle including working with various stakeholders, grooming requirements, prototyping, solution design and development, code review and maintaining sustainable delivery of live products as the common goal.
Responsibilities

• To lead an effective onshore/offshore team in the design, development, and delivery of an in-house software solution for Finance and Accounting
• Collaborate with partnering teams to ensure systems are well integrated to deliver business value
• Drive business requirements analysis and design sustainable technology solutions for them
• Practice End-to-End Agile development methodologies, complying with internal DevSecOps delivery process and standards
• Provide second-level application support & internal sharing
  

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in building solutions in one or more of these areas: treasury, finance, accounting, product control.
• Experience in architecting and delivering high-performance Java full-stack distributed systems
• Proficient in modern web application development with Spring Framework and microservice architecture
• Experience in front-end frameworks and languages including node.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Typescript
• Experience in test automation frameworks for unit and integration testing
• Experience with broad range of data and integration technologies including RDBMS, NoSQL, In-memory datastores and Kafka/MQ.
• Deep understanding of Agile concepts and practices
